We have investigated "Primitive and Point Configuration (PPC) texture model," which regards a texture to be composed by arranging grains that are derived from one or a few primitives by some modification. The PPC texture model is able to characterize primitive shapes and grain location configuration independently. We propose in this paper methods of manipulating for the grain location configuration. These methods enable to manipulate global characteristics of a texture
independently on local ones. Our methods modify the grain configuration using random point process and generate different textures while preserving the original primitive shape.
