Abstract
A simulator for an aid of design of nonlinear image processing filters is developed. This simulator assists the filter design by determining parameters manually with trial-and-error. This method is also useful for improvement of the results of the learning optimization methods. An example of the application of this method to improve an resultant filter by a learning method of the mathematical morphological filter is shown.
